About Me
When we discover our true identities and embrace our most authentic selves, we embark on an extraordinary journey. This journey allows us to perceive beauty in both the small and seemingly unattractive aspects of life, fostering a profound sense of internal connection. As we become more authentic, we begin to make healthier choices, establish boundaries, and fulfill our desires, dreams, and lives. Authenticity and integrity are not merely words but ways of being.

Initially, I never intended to become a counsellor. My own mental health struggles instilled a fear of psychologists and the field of psychology. I was apprehensive about confronting my fears and diagnosis. However, during the darkest periods of my life, I sought help. Overcoming chronic depression, anxiety, and shame made me realise the efficacy of therapy.

My fascination with psychology grew, and despite having no initial interest in becoming a counsellor, my curiosity led me to study the field. Eventually, I qualified as a counsellor. I know therapy works because I have experienced its benefits firsthand. My lived experience serves as proof of its effectiveness.

I am profoundly grateful that this path became an avenue in my life. I believe it was all predestined. I recall reading what I have written above and feeling that no one could truly understand me, and that the dark cloud above my head would eventually consume me. The intense feelings of loneliness, of being unheard, and the lack of genuine connections in my relationships were overwhelming. I constantly tried to hide my true self, yet I was often the life and soul of the party, desperately trying to mask my true identity. This led to a painful internal conflict, as I did not truly know who I was and pretended to be someone who did not align with my then-unknown beliefs, values, spirituality, and self.

I have been there; I understand the intolerable pain. This is why I can walk with you. Your journey will not be identical to mine, and you will not find your identity through mine. You will heal because I understand the journey, the commitment, the ups and downs it entails, and the pain it can bring forth. I am confident that I can support you through this process. I am not afraid of the changes, and I will stand by you as we navigate this journey together.
