Shame

Shame is often referred to as the “master” emotion due to its profound impact on our mental and physical well-being. This emotion can be incredibly debilitating, consuming, and overwhelming the mind and body. Many people are unaware of the presence of shame in their lives, which can make it even more challenging to address. In my practice, I work closely with clients who are experiencing shame. Together, we explore its roots and develop strategies to manage and overcome its effects. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can confront and heal from the deep-seated feelings of shame that may be holding them back.

Anger

Anger can manifest in ways that make us feel as though we have little control over our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It can leave us feeling isolated and lonely, often accompanied by a heavy burden of guilt and shame. In therapy, I invite you to bring your anger. Here, it’s safe to explore and understand this powerful emotion. Together, we can work through it, helping you regain control and find healthier ways to express and manage your anger.

Bereavment & Loss

I have extensive experience working with loss. I understand that loss is not a linear process but rather an intertwining, spiral journey. Each person’s experience with loss, death, and change is distinctive, and I am committed to understanding and supporting each individual through their personal journey. Together, we can navigate these complex emotions and find a path toward healing.

Trauma

Trauma

Trauma can be disentangled, and it is possible to regain your life and sense of self. I have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced childhood trauma, Complex PTSD (CPTSD), and PTSD. Together, we can navigate the complexities of trauma, helping you reclaim control and rebuild your sense of identity.

Somatics

We all have the capacity to feel, both physically and emotionally. Sometimes, we may experience a sense of disconnection or dysregulation. In my practice, I work somatically to help clients reconnect and become more aware of their thoughts, behaviours, and physical bodies. Together, we can explore these sensations and foster a deeper understanding and integration of your experiences.
